All you need is the TEAMSPEAK CLIENT which is free, get it from the link on this page..
You will need a password. Please P.M. an administrator for the this.
Once installed, start the Teamspeak Client.
Select CONNECTION.
select CONNECT.
Then select the LOCAL ADDRESSBOOK tab.
Right click SERVER in the listings. Click ADD SERVER.
LABEL=Gamers Crib.
SERVER ADDRESS=ts.gamers-crib.com
NICKNAME put in your game NICKNAME (sort of speaks for itself).
Server Password aserver password is required, please PM Whoopster or any of the Admins for the Gamers Crib password.
Tick Auto-reconnect.
Now click on CONNECT
Now configuring the Settings in Teamspeak.
Click on Settings and then Options.
In the Sound Driver section you can select Wave or Direct Sound. I have always had it set to Direct Sound. It allows you to use the buffer just below that. If you're experiencing lag while playing games and using teamspeak, move the slider towards lower latency.
Under Device make sure both Input Device and Output Device is set to your soundcard. There should be no reason to configure anything in the other tabs
Click on the Settings menu and select Sound Input/Output Settings.
Output Volume should be left on normal, if you increase it voices become crackly and bassy. Moving the slider closer to min will make the voices quieter but you may have trouble hearing some people.
Voice Send Method allows 2 different ways to talk. Push to talk which you can click the Set button to select a button to press each time you wish to talk. Make sure whichever key you use does not double as something that is used in your game. Voice Activation is best as you don't have to press a button to talk. You can move the slider button depending on the sensitivity of your microphone.
Now you are ready to talk to all your GC chums.
Click on your Teamspeak desktop icon, choose Connect, choose Gamers Crib and you are away.
When you get into the GC Teamspeak Lobby you can now click on any of the available rooms.
Just remember to talk with a deep voice so you don't sound girlie. Mr. Green
