I think I've got it now, it was the "replace texture" option that I needed to figure out in 3DSimEd to get the textures to save (at least I hope that's how it's done).
So, I loaded up all four wheels at once, changed the textures, added everything to the .GTL file and it seems to work now. I've tested it on multiple Camaros using number 7 wheel in the genstring.

The .GTL file is here if you want to double check it. I'm just about to send it off with my skins, if there's any problem then we'll just go with the original.

That sounds OK, Jim could put it nicely snug in the GTL WHEELS thingy.
I uploaded all the stuff and sent it off.

Now we'll see, one very strange GT350 to finish.

Yes, that is the best way, for the first time, to get a clean install,

then add...

• the v1.1 patch
• your entire UserData folder (your profile + all car setup files)
• the unlock cheat file - TG2001.DYN
• the 'bude connection files LOCAL_IP_LOBBY.TXT & LOCAL_IP_BACKUP_LOBBY.TXT
• the XD files - d3d9.dll & XD.ini

Never use this install ...just copy it when you need a base install.

I didn't add the LOCAL_IP_LOBBY.TXT ---- It just appeared after I went online

The only way I know to make that file appear "by magic"
is to use the 'bude autoupdater... maybe you did that?

If not, they're here. If it is, no worries.

I've had a look at the style 5 wheels and there was a material setting missing.

Try these and see if they make a difference.

Extract this rar file to your Camaro SS folder. It is 4 updated wheel GMT's.

If the fix works you can delete them and Mario can add them to the wheel GTL.

Allrighty!

So now I can complete that last pack.
I'll post links in the forum when done, and then the server can be set for race with the new stuff.

I guess no add-ons for me tonight, but at least it will all work.

Before I do ..Is this wheel fix something I have to add to what I've got?

Is there anything else that might change that I should wait for?

I already got the WHEEL file from Frank, so it's in there.
All that is needed are the rest of the 67 Camaros.
