GCCPnGDC Fun Race 1
9th of February 2010
Track: Nürburgring Müllenback (Nurburgring 2005 - http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=16808) Carset: Lotus Elite, Austin Healey 3000 Mrk2 Quali: 1915 GMT (60 Mins.) Race: 2015 GMT (60 Laps) Fuel: Normal Time of Day: Evening/Night (race starts at 8:00pm) Terrain Patch On This is a non championship race, no points awarded, however event format remains the same. We maybe running a compulsory pitstop for new tires, as even on x2 fuel you can still make it with one tank :) All it would mean is pitting in and changing all four wheels at somepoint during the race. ive been humming and haring over it - I know what you mean in regards to the pit exit but on the other hand if you loose yours lights during the race atleast you can then time your repairs during the tire change, otherwise your more than likely to be dropped stone dead last.
Also might spice it up slightly :) im not sure, what do others thinks? It takes about 30 seconds for the stop.

Well i crashed almost everything out there: sorry all. I 1stly crashed pug; then while waiting for him i've been crashed for i slowed down being just in the ideal line; then while gaining some position, i crashed arpix: what a disaster
I hope that the cars i crashed i did for the little lag i saw when i was close to them: poor apology maybe. As for the car that crashed me i hope i didn't ruin his race... cu taccoPS i watched the replay and found the car that crashed me for my slowing down in the wrong place was arpix... i damaged him twice. sorry arpix!

Very frustrating; I seem to be able to find new ways of not finishing. This time the gear shift was screwed up ( maybe I shouldn't play around w/ the buttons just before the start...)

Well, I finished 4th, my best result so far
. but only 6 finishers (of 13 starters).
Qualifying went well, with a 6th position on the grid, but then I made a new newbiemistake: a jumpstart 
so I had to stop/go. I went in at the end of lap 2, together with the frontrunners who had damaged their cars in the first lap battles. Out of the pits in 12th position, trying to keep Tacco behind (to no avail of course)  After that, I tried to regain my racing speed, which went well. Closing in on the midfield and gaining some positions and after a long last haul I finished 4th. Thanks guys for the Fun Race and a special cheers to JJC who was the only one who chose the Healey. If I knew earlier it would not be a single car race, I would also have chosen the Big Six  See u next time!

Good race, probably my fault going into the first corner Tac, I was being rather cautious going in and then left a gap on the inside for some bizarre reason! ive not watched the replay but I suspect I might have closed up on the exit?
The spin was fine, (thanks for waiting) but it was the yellow Lotus ploughing into my nose that did the damage broke my front right suspension and I suspect the same to him on the left side (sorry couldn't get out of the way in time). I was going to pit for repairs but it was over a minute on repair time alone! so I just held my wheel at a slightly different angle and plugged on with no lights :) Qualifying was dreadful! I managed to set a few okay times but then started over driving or making mistakes when being up on the lap. After a while did a few heavy fuel runs which felt good. Well done Tac on pole. Again well done to everyone who finished! nice tight field. Thanks for setting up the server Lavanda and for sorting the logs. A lucky if not hollow win. See you next Tuesday!

No pug, i think i was not enough cautious, i was close to you, i braked late and then started saying sorry... Next time i'll ask u to check my ping because i think yesterday evening i had some problem with it. Usually i can avoid those disasters but yesterday i made twice
. Since u pug won i hope my crash spiced up a little your fun race Nice comeback ;)
