you are all hard and fair racers. ! i hope you understand, thats a compliment without subliminal message between the lines ... and that fact was never in doubt or in question.

i was myself surprised, to see myself twice bumping into trunks in gregs short video,
i hadnīt even noticed it in the race ( i must have accepted it ) , and that made me think." i need to be driving extremely more cautious , so that i can avoid this happening again as good as i can ... "
so it was good, he posted that video , otherwise i would have been going on with that style..
i dont wanted to be the only one who learns something positive (though from a negative event) , so i decided to show this situation.

went little fubar from then on .. sorry for my part on that !

i never came to say, thx redi , for being so patient the laps before that , staying behind my wild horse, must have cost u a few hairs ... (saying this is little worthless maybe now , after so much crap from my side , but anyway )
No, staying behind your GC Patrol Mini did not cost me a single grey hair! Just because I'm usually faster than you does not mean I hate driving behind your car! You were racing well this Monday and I had to put in serious effort to pass you.

So you see that you accidentally touch some other cars, unintentionally. No-one protested or complained, because it was obvious that it was not done on purpose It is part of racing, and putting in "extreme caution" will not prevent you from ever hitting another Mini again, so don't sweat it and enjoy the racing!

There is nothing to be sorry about! We can have a discussion, even a heated debate, and still have a respectful and fun race the next week

Please don't think that being angry, disappointed or sad about something is bad or will make people angry towards you, because it won't! I can deal with and accept differences in opinions without a problem, it makes life interesting!

You shouldn't feel sorry for starting this discussion nor for feeling the way you do, I'll race with you next time just as gladly as I ever did!

I'll gladly rub your door-handle in the next race! Erm, did I just say that?

Knowing how quick he was, I basically let him by me for 2nd place in that race to avoid any chance of a contact and me losing the chance for 3rd

Is this a 2-part movie?

Well done, the first part. I notice that some of you guys seem to have slower connections, hence the locked front wheels and jittering of cars. Would it help if I send you my replay files? I don't find time to make videos anymore, but my replays are usually very smooth.

Just wanted to check if another analysis of our last corner incident would be included.

Well done, remind me to upload my replay after the next races.

I'm still planning to do a replay of both races, but I need to find an hour or so to do so. Will be a bit unpolished but I've seen so many nice moments that are worthy of a movie

In my experience the server replays have the fewest lag effects.
(like wonky wheels, wheelies, stoppies, hyper-spacing etc.)

Individual drivers replay data seems to have very good replay data... but only for cars near to that driver. Cars far away from the recording driver suffer from those bad effects.

The server replay does not have any such "bias" towards one driver.

I guess that server replays do not allow in-cockpit cameras?

Surely not.
I still don't agree with this JJC, because I never have stutters, jitters or locked front wheels in my replays, no matter which car I'm looking at. There sure is a difference between user's replays.

I used to not have that either, but in the Hidden Valley race replays I had some hyperspacing that I didn't see in the race, and also some recent races did show some cars with locked wheels which I never saw in the previous seasons...

If that is true then I guess there must be other variables which also affect the quality? (power of the user's machine, quality of the network connection etc)

Maybe also affected by these "Fidelity" setting in the Replay menu?
I have never messed with them, I have always set them to "the max"
it might be interesting to know what others have set here?

Just checked. Apart from some small stutters (which were visible in the race itself too because of bad connection of those drivers (Mikko, raz,...) I have no problems at all.
Files are too big to attach here though (8-9MB each).
