No it's a GT500 skinpack actually... Normal and SS...

P.S. The 457GL one might have an issue... When you try to preview the car it shows nothing... Is this just me?

Yep, you´re right. but it´s easy. There´s only a folder too much
There´s the 457GL folder within another 457GL folder, where the file are in.
So the first 457GL folder is too much

Pssttt Rick I saw a request to get the GT40 sounds, sightly muffled, to the Snake.
Now that would be a good idea...

Maybe THIS ONE would be good too...

Well, maybe there´s a way to give ONLY the SS this sound

So we can hear a difference between the Standard and the SS

Yes there is, just change the AUD line in the CAR files of the Snakes.
And leave them for the other ones.

As requested of some MCL racers i´ve finished the new Supersnake sound in time

Recorded my old Opel Vectra 1,6, edited a bit and that´s the result

No just kidding....

Tried to make a more realistic GT40 style sound. And here it is....
Special thanks to Pizzaman and ManiacRS for testing, advice, comments and opinions.

DOWNLOAD

All SS (also the new) will be affected.
If somebody wants to have the sound on a standard GT500 just change the following
line in the car file (with the editor):

Sounds=shelbysounds.aud into: Sounds=GT500SS.aud

If I´m correct shouldn´t be different sounds a problem with online play ...

- we will have some new skins/cars, and they may have different sound;

I noticed that ReDi had this problem, he made his own skin to use the DucFreak add-on sounds, and then uploaded it. Though this did not give mismatch online, some people didn't have Duc Sounds... so his car called for a sound they did not have... and so his car became 'an electric car' - it had no sound at all.

I still think he does that to sneak up on people...

Personally I think that the sounds should be included in the car pack or as an additional sound pack just to be sure everyone has it.

In the car pack would be the best option.

Yep, that´s the plan ...

JJC will get a complete pack with all additions we´ve made.
New skins, sounds and some little fixes from me, and car updates/changes directly from Pizzaman.
So JJC can throw it all together with all the the car mods and skinpacks from S2.

I have 23 Chevelles... now I need to do the low-GFX textures and all that.Already done the biks and icons. Hope done tonight, two give trouble.
Probably make that 23 Chevelles then (LOL).

The complete pack of chevelle skins is ready (with low/high resolution for each car). And I have a little idea why bik/icon doesn't work !!!

At the moment we only should have 10 skins for car model. Some cars will have a few more and some may have less as they are not "used much" cars.

I think Pizzaman, Rick18, Raz and Cap7 have done all the paints for all the cars. So basically we don't need anymore at the moment - LOL
