Yes strategically the new season is going to be much nicer.
Differences between cars are very small, but can be stressed by what final drive you choose. I had the 'almost-longst-one', which had the advantage of being able to brake better (downshift), and having better accelleration. Didn't floor it very often though. I kept it to ~ 80% which was enough to keep up, and then Ihad some spare to put on some pressure. Usually did it in that chicane somewhere halfway the track. I could not get that long righthander down, which is why the longest gearing was no use. But I'm surprised I can keep up with you guys, maybe I'm getting better. BTW maaaan Kon is alien fast. Unfortunately he ff-ed up in the pit. I hope Fernando joins in Class B, that might produce some close racing and maybe make class A and B a bit closer if more fast guys decide to go for Class B.

i used "optimal gearing" , so i hit the rev limiter on the straight every time ( i eased the throttle only then a little) .
my roadrunner was slower (careful?) into the corners, that surprised me a little , if i braked later, and/or entered the corners faster , i would overshoot/go wide ,,, also, i realized how difficult its gonna be to decide on a car , they are all just so brilliant ...

But the Charger is more reliable, the Chevelle sometimes bites back. Then the arse starts twitching on corner exit. I lose lots of time. Most time gained is because after sliding it is lined up for the next straight so you can mash the throttle. Still no matter what happens to the tyres, LOL. As long as the wheel stays on.  I also noticed I hardly wear the front tyres, which is why I was faster in that last corner (and you spun out).
